Montpellier is a fine and historic city in the heart of the
Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Located on the coastal plain
between the Mediterranean and the hills of the Cevennes, the city has many
attractions: a demographically balanced society, thanks to its three
universities, easy access to fine beaches, an “old” city centre of great
charm with narrow streets and ancient buildings and a modern city
transportation system which makes travel in the conurbation of Montpellier
simple. |
