Montpellier
is
a
fine
city
in
the
heart
of the
Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Located on the coastal plain
between the Mediterranean and the hills of the Cevennes the city has
many attractions: a demographically balanced society, a thriving
cultural scene, three universities (including the oldest in France),
easy access to good beaches, an historic city centre of great
charm and a modern, environmentally friendly city transportation
system,
including two high speed Tram lines with a third due to open in 2012
more in the pipeline.
