Welcome to the  website of the British Cultural Association of Montpellier, France.

The BCA was formed in 1991  to provide for British nationals living  in the  Montpellier area the opportunity to meet, exchange experiences and ideas and celebrate traditional holiday dates together. Almost all of the BCA's activities are conducted in English.

The BCA welcomes all members of the English speaking community in the Montpellier area and aims to arrange varied programmes of social events that reflect the leisure interests of a lively mix of people of many different nationalities.

We are individuals, students and families from all walks of life, living in and around this city. Our first language is English (except for our anglophile French members and friends) .

Newcomers to the area are welcomed and can receive guidance from members regarding settling in difficulties as we have a wealth of experience and a broad range of know-how available.

Please note that we are not an English language school, although we sometimes arrange language exchange sessions.
